WWII / Now

This series of photographs takes historic photos of World War II and superimposes them on modern shots. Using careful Photoshop skills, Sergey Larenkov has created new images that are not only visually stunning but also thought provoking. It's almost disturbing to watch people going about their lives where not even a hundred years ago, one of the wars that has most affected today's society raged.

Definitely worth the click.

Despite the fact that a couple of these are photoshopped and one is a legitimate photo of an African tribe, most of these photos will remind you that taking crazy photos is not a new phenomenon. Most of them are funny and a couple are just strange or sad or whatever. They'll almost all make you raise an eyebrow, though.
