No, seriously.
MGMT -- well -- okay so I haven't listened to their newest album. I liked the singles off the last one. Thought the album as a whole wasn't as good as everyone said it was. Still agree they've matured past two gangly teenagers opening for Of Montreal. Fine.
But their videos.
They're like past absurd to the point where they just aren't entertaining anymore?
Maybe I'm just not doing enough drugs.
Anyway, an intervention!
Thanks, Callaghan!

Who knew owls were such alcoholics?
I always just thought that owls had a tendency to blink during photographs, but this website purports that they are actually hungover. Crazy but... I can see it.

Why are all the cute ones mass murdering dictators?
Guys, Stalin was totally hot. Too bad he turned out to be such a jackass. Aren't most hipsters, though?
Seriously though, look at this photo.

Human Bicycle
So, like, you know how in America, sports players aren't really allowed to celebrate? Like a quick fist pump and a jump in the stands, but that's about it? Maybe if they were this creative, it'd be more acceptable.

Everyone's seen the Double Rainbow video by now blahblahblah.
I like Blippy's use of it, though. Click the unicorn. Please.

WWII / Now
This series of photographs takes historic photos of World War II and superimposes them on modern shots. Using careful Photoshop skills, Sergey Larenkov has created new images that are not only visually stunning but also thought provoking. It's almost disturbing to watch people going about their lives where not even a hundred years ago, one of the wars that has most affected today's society raged.
Definitely worth the click.
